L A N E W A Y 2 0 1 8 !

Wasn't planning at all to go for Laneway this year as there were only few acts that I was looking forward to but somehow, got lucky and Cleo Magazine gaveaway a pair of tickets a week before the festival.

Quite sad that Qin couldn't join but this year we were accompanied by Danish and Shalyn. And although it was my first time meeting Shalyn, we somehow get along so well. Explored the festival place and played games at the H&M tent.

Set our mat near Bay Stage and had our lunch before Billie Eilish and Mac Demarco set.
Couldn't contain my excitement when I saw Billie Eilish. Her live was so good just like all her recordings!

We waited till 6pm for Mac Demarco, my favourite ever since we watched him for Laneway'14. Me and Shalyn didn't watch Mac's set till the end as we were rushing for Billie's meet and greet. It was such a bummer that we were 5 minutes late and the queue was already long.

Went to Cloud Stage to meet the guy's friends and as always, the place was further away from the rest. Manage to catch a little bit of Wolf Alice at Garden Stage.

The rest of the night, we enjoyed Slowdive and Bonobo's amazing instrumental songs and for this year Laneway, I discovered Anderson Paak. He killed his performance especially during his solo drum.

Ended our Laneway Festival with The War on Drugs, where all the weird things starting to happen, like there was this guy who was dancing like a half dead fish and another guy was so hyper. On top of all, I wouldn't want to spend any other way with great companies for my third Laneway. Till next time!
